Structure and Techonology
ENGEFOTO has its own aircraft specially customized for aerial surveying services. Our cameras feature high-resolution spearhead lens with forward motion compensation (FMC). Other advantages are gyroscope-stable mounting and GPS receivers that enable the supported flight technique, which in its turn yields significant savings for the ground support stage. There are also cones with focal distances of 88 mm, 153 mm and 300 mm.

ENGEFOTO also owns an airborne laser sensor, wich performs precise altimetric survey and enables higher altitude flights, offering a high repetition rate. It can operate day and night, optimizing the survey’s time of execution.
Additionally, the Inertial Navigation System (INS) enables full camera positioning when the camera is shooting. It comprises three high-sensitivity accelerometers and three gyroscopes that provide for post-processing camera positioning and angles for each frame. This equipment facilitates the supported or direct orientation flying that yields significant savings at the land-support stage.
To collect elevation numeric models Engefoto has laser data processing software (LIDAR), and software to classify that information, which generates highly-accurate and reliable digital terrain and elevation models.
To provide road consultancy services, ENGEFOTO has spearhead technology equipment to assess paving, such as the falling weight deflectometer (FWD) manufactured by KUAB.

To effectively improve quality, productive and safe cadastral surveying of paving and roads in general, in 2008 ENGEFOTO finished developing their multifunctional system called LandRunner, which comprises different synchronized components mounted on a customized vehicle that carries out the following operations simultaneously:
- Laser-measuring longitudinal imbalance with three sensors;
- Paving failure cadastre via continuous imaging of the paving surface via a camera mounted at the back;
- Panoramic cadastre of visible events on the surface via continuous imaging, via a camera mounted at the front;
- Georeferencing of all information that enables also geometry cadastre of the plant and profile;
- Hodometric datum of all the evens with subdecimal accuracy.
The whole system is managed by high-performance computer and support and analysis software.
