Engefoto has an expert technical team to design road engineering surveys and projects, including road engineering that comprises highways, urban roads and railways.
Over the last years the company has developed important road-related works, the most significant of which are:
- Restoration and enlargement projects for higher capacity of the São Paulo–Curitiba–Florianópolis Corridor at highway BR-116 section, between the Border of the State of São Paulo and Curitiba, and highways BR-376 between Curitiba and Garuva, commissioned by the National Road Department.
- Duplication project for highway PR-151 between Castro and Piraí do Sul, commissioned by Rodonorte Concessionary.
- Enlargement project for highway BR-376 at the section that corresponds to the Cadeado Mountain Range, commissioned by Construpar Consortium.
- Restoration and enlargement projects for higher capacity for different section of highways BR-277, BR-376 and PR-151, commissioned by Rodonorte/ Construpar Consortium.
The scope of routine work carried out by Engenfoto includes:
Studies: topographic and drawing, geological and geotechnical, traffic, technical and economic feasibility, and assessment of existing functional and structural paving.
Projects: geometric, intersections, U-turns and access, earthmoving, drainage and current special structures, paving, paving restoration, signaling, complementary works, slope and environmental asset recovery, special structures, interference relocation and expropriation.

Engefoto uses state-of-the art technological resources to design road surveys and projects, always aiming at continuous improvement via ongoing updating. Most of the company’s processes are automated and last-generation software is used for drawing, geometric and intersection projects. Usually, such surveys and projects are carried out supported by a photogrammetric restitution or digital orthophotomap cartographic base for which our company holds expertise.
The company is highly skilled in the paving sector, for which it has developed studies and projects that employ updated paving assessment techniques and presents to their clients spearhead economic solutions, such as paving recycling via different processes, application of polymer-modified asphalts, asphaltic microconcrete, rigid paving and other.
Engefoto carries out surveying and projects as well as provides assistance and technical support to road departments and road concessionaries by monitoring and supervising the work.
