Work Management/Supervision

As well as executing projects, other outstanding activities developed by ENGEFOTO’s Transport Engineering area are related to Work Management and Supervision. The company has been providing those services for governmental and private entities both for highways and urban roads.

Well-performing work activities depend on several factors, which must address the project and the monitoring of the execution of the work itself. Monitoring can take on many forms of work management or supervision, including a wide range of actions, all of which aim at optimum final quality. Those actions involve the development of management activities, technical activities and quality control activities.

Among the developed management activities are those related to monitoring and decision making for physical and financial schedules, the relationship with the contracting agency and the builder, drafting reports, etc.

On the other hand, main technical activities are related to project analyses, verifications and complementation, service invoicing, topographic monitoring and field work execution, etc.

Quality control comprises prior assessment and monitoring actions under the constructor’s Quality Plan and verifying the plan’s results in order to meet requirements set forth under overall and/or project specifications. Hence, it comprises technological controls for materials, the execution and finished goods.

Main services provided by ENGEFOTO to Manage and Supervise works ensue from the following types of contracts:

• Advisory supervision for restoration works and road improvement under the Road Corridor Program of Paraná, under the jurisdiction of the 4th Regional Center headquartered in Maringá, in the State of Paraná, commissioned by the Road Department of Paraná.
• Advisory supervision for restoration works and road improvement under the IV BID Program, 4th Regional Center headquartered in Maringá, in the State of Paraná, commissioned by the Road Department of Paraná.
• Supervision and surveillance for restoration works, modernization and higher capacity of the São Paulo–Curitiba–Florianópolis Corridor at highway BR-116 section at the Border of the States of São Paulo and Paraná - Curitiba and highways BR-376, section at the States of Paraná and Santa Catarina Border, commissioned by National Road Department.
• Advisory support to the Road Department of Paraná for supervising and surveilling all activities carried out at plot 2, works and services set forth in the bid rules and appendixes of the “Road Concession Program of the State of Paraná”.
• Supervision, technological control and quality parameter verification for construction works involving the duplication and restoration of roads part of plot 5 under the “Road Concession Program of the State of Paraná” commissioned for the Construtor Parques Consortium.
• Supervision and technical management of construction works and urban infrastructure for the Bairro Legal Project, fully funded by BNDES, commissioned by the City Hall of Petrolina in the State of Pernambuco.
• Advisory services and technical support to the Regulating Agency of Public Delegated Transport Services of the State of São Paulo (ARTESP) – monitoring services for plot 3 – TEBE, under the “State Program for Destatization and Partnership with Private Entities” of the government of the State of São Paulo.
• Monitoring services for urban transport improvement, bi-articulate buses Capão da Imbuia / Vila Hauer and Mário Tourinho / Heitor Guimarães, commissioned by the City Hall of Curitiba in the State of Paraná.
